Sewer Bills and Usage Rates

Sewer utility bills are mailed quarterly approximately the second week of November, February, May, and August. Payment is collected by the Treasurer's Office and payment is due 30 days after the bill is issued. If you have any payment questions, please contact them at 508-987-6038.

• 1st Quarter is (July, August, September) Billed in November                                                                                                                                               
• 2nd Quarter is (October, November, December)  Billed in February                                                                                                                                   
• 3rd Quarter is (January, February, March)  Billed in May                                                                                                                                                     
• 4th Quarter is (April, May, June) Billed in August

Sewer usage bills are calculated based on your water usage as recorded by Aquarion Water Company. If you feel that the water usage is incorrect, please contact them at 1-800-928-3734.

Non-receipt of issued bill not an acceptable reason for failure to pay. A $10.00 demand fee will be applied to account if payment not received within 30 days of billing date. All unpaid charges will be lien to property tax bill.

Sewer Rates effective July 1, 2024: 

North System: $15.13 per 1,000 gallons - on Aquarion Water north of 491 Main Street

Southwest System: $19.19 per 1,000 gallons- on Old Webster Road south of 10 Old Webster Road.
