Overview
The Town of Oxford adopted three bylaws on January 14, 2005 to comply with the EPA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit for Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4's). At Oxford's annual Town Meeting on May 5, 2021 Oxford's DPW and Land Management department sponsored an updated bylaw for compliance with current EPA regulations which passed unanimously. The new bylaw consolidates the Town's stormwater management and land disturbance bylaws from two - Chapters 66 and 67 - down to one bylaw - Chapter 66. No changes were made to Chapter 65 of the Town's General Bylaws. On November 22, 2021 the Planning Board approved the Stormwater Management and Land Disturbance Regulations promulgated under the newly approved bylaw.
