The Oxford Police Department is responsible for providing services to a community of 13,500 and patrolling 26.6 square miles. Oxford is honored to be the birthplace of Clara Barton, the founder of the American Red Cross, and Dr. Elliot P. Joslin, a pioneer in diabetes research.
