Wheelock Street Improvements

Project Description:  Through a $215,775 MassDOT Complete Streets grant award and local roadway rehabilitation funding, construct an accessible sidewalk connecting Monument Drive to Charlton Street as well as reconstructing the roadways. roadways 

Project Goals: Restore roadway pavement and provide safe, accessible pedestrian facilities and critical connectivity from the existing sidewalk network on Locust Street to Charlton Street.

Location: Wheelock Street, Wheelock Court, Fairlawn Avenue  

Construction Begins: Summer 2026

Construction Ends: Summer 2026
