Housing Authority

The Oxford Housing Authority was established in 1971.The Agencies mission is to provide safe, secure rental subsidies for families, elderly, and handicapped or disabled persons. Both State and Federal Governments fund the programs. The Oxford Housing Authority is a public agency that consists of three (3) elected members, one (1) tenant member appointed by the Board of Selectmen and one (1) Governor-appointed member for five-year terms. The Director is appointed by the Housing Authority. Depending upon the program, applicants can be housed in either private sector dwellings or an apartment complex owned by the Oxford Housing Authority. Applications are available on the web site.
