Rocky Hill Yard Waste Facility can be accessed from the dead end of Rocky Hill Road. The facility is opened seasonably and as weather permits.

          Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Will be the last day the facility will be open for the season.

Facility Hours:

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday: 8:30AM to 2:30PM (weather dependent)

Wednesday/Sunday: Closed

Town Holidays: Closed

2025 Permit Fee:

Resident: $25 per vehicle

Oxford Licensed Landscape Contractor: $1,000 per vehicle

Note: Permit applications may be completed online Rocky Hill Yard Waste Permit. Online permits may be paid by credit card (service fees may apply) or echeck only.

Permits can only be purchased in person at the Public Works Administrative Office (450 Main Street) between the hours of 8am-3pm. Payments can be paid with cash or check only. Rules of Yard Waste Facility:

1. Yard waste ONLY - leaves, grass, branches. Dumping of materials other than yard waste is strictly prohibited. 

2. No branches larger than 4" in diameter and no larger than 8' in length.

3. Tree Stumps of any kind or size will not be accepted.

4. No poison ivy, oak, sumac, or other harmful plants will be accepted. 

5. Biodegradable bags are NOT accepted for disposal.

6. Leaving yard waste or other materials at gate after hours is considered illegal dumping and is punishable by a fine.
